George Turnah FC Strategizes for New Football Season

In his bid to ensure his team perform credibly well at the forthcoming 2016/2017 Nationwide league season, Chairman, George Turnah Football Club, Barrister George Turnah, (MON), says his team would play a good number of friendly matches.

Speaking from his home town, in Kolo community, the Ogbia Local Council area, Barrister Turnah noted that the aim was to give the team a clue of what to expect, when they make their debut this year.
In his words, "The friendly matches is to keep us in shape and expose us. We are first timers, but we want to make a mark. We are not going there to give out three points to every team, but to be among the teams to seek promotion to the higher league."

George Turnah FC defeated Amassoma fc 2-0 in a pre-seson friendly match playerd this morning @ the Amassoma football field, then play Bayelsa United FC on Tuesday 14the February 2017 @ Sagbama others matches to be players are Julius Atete FC, Delta Stars, Bright Stars FC, Nembe City FC, Selected stars FC of Yenagoa, Go Round FC, and Cynosure FC.

Head Coach of the team, Ada Gwegwe, commended his boss, Barrister George Turnah for organizing more friendly games for the club which according to him would help him select the best players that would finally enrol in the club. George Turnah Football Club had so far played seven (8) friendly games and scored nineteen, (21) goals in the process, conceded four(4), and had recorded (7) wins and a draw.
